Pray for others

Paul urges prayer for all people, including rulers, and connects it with peaceful, godly lives. He then names God's saving concern and Christ as the one mediator. Prayer stretches beyond our preferred circle because the gospel does. Pray for leaders without making them saviors, and pray for those who do not yet know Christ.
