DAILY SCRIPTURE STUDY · DAY 85 OF 365
Gentleness and self-control
Read Titus 3:1–8Titus reminds believers to be gentle toward all because they themselves once lived in disobedience. Salvation rests on God's mercy and the Spirit's renewing work, not our own righteousness. Gentleness grows from remembering grace. Although this reading is not Paul's list of spiritual fruit, it shows how mercy received should change the way we treat others.
Put the Word into practice
Respond gently to someone you would normally dismiss, remembering your own need for God's mercy.

A prayerful response
Merciful Father, renew my attitudes and teach me to treat others with the grace You have shown me. Amen.
