DAILY SCRIPTURE STUDY · DAY 8 OF 365
Teach us to pray
Read Matthew 6:5–13Jesus directs prayer away from public performance and toward the Father who sees in secret. The model prayer begins with God's name, kingdom, and will before moving to bread, forgiveness, and deliverance. Prayer is relationship and dependence, with real requests. Let Jesus set your priorities rather than making prayer a speech designed to impress.
Put the Word into practice
Pray through each request in Matthew 6:9–13 in your own words, giving attention to God's kingdom first.
