DAILY SCRIPTURE STUDY · DAY 7 OF 365
The Spirit and prophecy
Read Acts 2:16–21Peter identifies the events of Pentecost with Joel's promise that God's Spirit would be poured out. Prophecy is included, with sons and daughters named together. The passage invites attention to God's initiative rather than a human claim to special status. In GFM's continuationist understanding, the church should welcome the Spirit's work while testing every claim under Scripture.
