DAILY SCRIPTURE STUDY · DAY 45 OF 365

Love in action

Read 1 Corinthians 13:4–7

Paul describes love by what it does and refuses to do: patience, kindness, humility, truth, and endurance. These qualities confront the desire to be noticed or proved right. Spiritual fruit becomes visible in difficult relationships, not only in peaceful moments. Let love govern how you speak when you have the opportunity to wound, boast, or keep score.

Put the Word into practice

Replace one impatient response with a kind, truthful answer. Repair harm if you have already spoken carelessly.

Which contrast in Paul's description most directly challenges your usual response to conflict?

A prayerful response

Father, teach me to love in ways the people around me can recognize. Amen.
