DAILY SCRIPTURE STUDY · DAY 27 OF 365
Encouragement and building up
Read 1 Corinthians 14:1–5Paul tells believers to pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy. He describes prophecy as speaking to people for strengthening, encouragement, and comfort. This gives ministry a clear direction: build people up in Christ. It does not authorize manipulating decisions or attaching God's name to our guesses. Let love govern both what you say and how you say it.
