Faith comes by hearing

Paul traces a chain: sending, preaching, hearing, believing, and calling on the Lord. The center is the message of Christ, not confidence in our own words. If faith is to grow, give the gospel your attention. Listen carefully to what God has revealed about Jesus, then become someone who carries that good news to others.
