Made in God's image

Genesis describes humanity, male and female, as made in God's image and entrusted with responsibility within creation. Dignity begins with God's making, not achievement or popularity. This truth concerns every human being, including people unlike us. Let it shape both how you see yourself and how you treat your neighbor.
