A vision with purpose

Habakkuk waits for God's answer about injustice. The vision concerns God's appointed purpose, not an entrepreneur's business forecast. Verse 4 contrasts pride with living by faith. Apply this first to humble trust in God's word; careful planning is a secondary application, not a promise that every written goal will succeed.
